Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 01, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RFMW Ltd. and Akoustis Technologies, Inc. of Huntersville, North Carolina, have announced a distribution agreement effective July 1, 2016. Akoustis Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB:AKTS) ("Akoustis"), is a manufacturer of innovative BulkONE™ bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high band RF filters for mobile wireless and general purpose RF catalog components. RFMW Ltd. is a specialized distributor providing customers and suppliers with focused distribution of RF and microwave components as well as specialized component-engineering support.
Under the agreement, RFMW is franchised worldwide for Akoustis’ complete product offering. Initially, RFMW will focus on promoting the DC-14GHz gain blocks targeted to applications such as test & measurement, aerospace & defense, wireless infrastructure, satellite communications, point-to-point radio and multiple uses in ISM. In addition, RFMW will work closely with Akoustis to promote their unique single-crystal BAW filters targeting 4G/LTE mobile wireless, WiFi, wireless infrastructure and aerospace & defense as it matures to production release, targeting the first half of 2017.
